Birds, ravens, animals, landscape 

Animals figure as recurring themes in my art work. Birds, creatures of the sky, appear in my work as symbols of personal transformation and alchemical transmutation. I am also inspired by Eastern and Western allegory and mythology - and how differently each animal manifests between cultures.

The landscape has always interested me and is present in most of my artwork. I work from memories of what I have seen in my travels. I am interested in the body of the earth, its cycles, its undulations, and how we as individuals connect to the greater cosmos via our connection to the landscape.
